Girard (11-11, 8-2 ACC National) rallied from a 2-0 deficit as Hayley Spalla had 58 assists, Callie Jay had 18 kills and four aces, and Taylor Bell had nine points and eight digs. Liberty improved to 17-4 with the five-game victory.
