Pa. man dies after being pinned by backhoe

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) — A man has died after getting pinned beneath a backhoe at a construction site in eastern Pennsylvania.

Officials say the accident happened around 7:15 a.m. today at a private lot in Bethlehem. Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek was at the scene, but did not immediately release the victim’s name.

Police are investigating exactly what happened. The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration will also be probing the accident.
