Murder suspect arraigned in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court

YOUNGSTOWN — Kyle J. Patrick, 17, of Midland Avenue was arraigned today in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court in the murder of 27-year-old Michael Abighanem in April.

Abighanem, of Thalia Street, was shot after he and a friend went to a house on Silliman Street on the West Side about 4:30 p.m. April 27 so Abighanem could sell a video-game system and a laptop computer.

The case has been assigned to Judge John Durkin. Patrick’s next court appearance is set for next Tuesday.
