UPDATE: No tickets required for 2:15 p.m. Tuesday rally with Gov. Christie

LORDSTOWN

Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will highlight a “Victory Rally” at Lordstown Village Park on Tuesday, the Mitt Romney for President campaign announced Sunday.

The park is located at the intersection of state Route 45 and Salt Springs Road in the village, home of the sprawling General Motors Lordstown assembly plant.

Admittance to the rally opens at 1:15 p.m. and the rally is expected to begin at 2:15 p.m., said Mark Munroe, Mahoning County Republican Party Chairman.

No tickets are required, Munroe said. Christie has been campaigning on behalf of Romney and other GOP candidates across the country.
