Name: Abby BegezdaInstruments: Flute and PiccoloQ. When did you start playing your instrument?

A. I began taking flute lessons when I was in the fourth grade. I am in the Wind Ensemble and this year I joined the flag-line.

Q. Best memory of being in band/marching band?

A. My best memory is the trip to New Orleans and playing at the national championship game at the Superdome.

Q. What competitions did you participate in and awards you won?

A. I have received superior ratings on flute and piccolo at ensemble contests.

Q. Why is music important to you?

A. I believe music is a way for me to express myself while having fun with all of my friends. Through solos and performances, band has given me a lot of confidence in myself.

Q. What college do you hope to attend/intended major?

A. I plan to major in pre-med.
