Girls soccer victorious
The Canfield girls soccer team defeated Fitch 5-0 on Monday. Two goals were credited to Bailey Fischer, with a goal each going to Paige Bidinotto, Haylee Klacik, and Hannah Day. An assist was made by Elena Billy. Canfield attempted a total of 12 shots, four of which were corner kicks. The junior varsity team defeated Fitch 2-1.
Canfield soccer loses to Fitch
Austintown Fitch defeated the Canfield boys soccer team 2-1 at Canfield on Sept. 25. Canfield took 12 shots with junior Brady Clark scoring a goal. Junior Ronnie Mangie had the assist. Senior goal keeper Andrik Massaro had five saves. The junior varsity match tied 0-0.
Canfield seeks bowling coach

Youngstown Orthopaedic Saturday sports clinic
Youngstown Orthopaedic Associates’ Saturday sports clinics, geared specifically to fall sports student-athletes in need of immediate attention to sports injuries, has started. The clinics run from 9-11 a.m. every Saturday throughout the high school sports season. These clinics are open to players involved in football, volleyball, soccer, golf and other high school and college sports. They are held at the practice’s Building A at the northwest corner of Tippecanoe Road and Boardman-Canfield Road in Canfield. More information is at www.youngstownortho.com.
