Baird Brothers hosts open house
Baird Brothers Fine Hardwoods will celebrate fall and American craftsmanship at its “Red, White and True” fall festival on Oct. 13, featuring demonstrations of do-it-yourself projects and practical advice for adding hardwood to living spaces.
The event will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Baird Brothers’ plant and showroom at 7060 Crory Road. Event highlights include how-to product installation demonstrations, product exhibits, mill tours, prizes, including an oak or hickory flooring giveaway valued at up to $1,725, food and entertainment for kids.
“Red, White and True is an opportunity for families to have fun and learn more about how to make their homes beautiful with the sustainable hardwood products that we proudly manufacture here at our Canfield, Ohio, plant,” said Michael Knoedler, of Baird Brothers. “The festival really is a celebration of true American craftsmanship.”
During the event, the community will have a chance to meet Baird Brothers’ craftsmen and ask questions. There will also be opportunities to win Baird Brothers’ American-made hardwood prizes and enjoy apples, cider, and doughnuts from nearby White House Fruit Farm.
Store hours will be extended the day of the event and purchases of in-stock hardwood items made during the fall festival are eligible for a 10 percent cash-and-carry discount.
