Wasserman Schultz, Craig Romney to visit area Friday

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Democratic National Committee chairwoman, and Craig Romney, a son of the Republican presidential nominee, will campaign at separate events Friday in Mahoning County.

Wasserman Schultz will be on the campus of Youngstown State University at 10 a.m. while Romney will be at his father’s “Victory Office,” which is the county Republican Party headquarters at 621Boardman-Canfield Road in Boardman, at 7 p.m.

Wasserman Schultz visited the downtown Youngstown campaign office of President Barack Obama on Sept. 15. This is the first campaign event in the Mahoning Valley for Craig Romney, one of Mitt Romney’s five sons.
