One dead, one critical after North Lima crash

NORTH LIMA

A 52-year-old New Springfield man is dead after a head-on crash Wednesday night.

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said Joseph S. Flynn was driving south on state Route 7 about 9 p.m. Wednesday when he went left of center and hit a car traveling in the opposite lane driven by Leonilde Miranda, 80, of Youngstown.

Both drivers were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center. Flynn was pronounced dead at 10:06 p.m. and Miranda remains in critical condition, the patrol said.
