The worst possible way to make friends with police

A 52-year-old Berkshire Street Southeast man is charged with misdemeanor desecration for allegedly urinating on a monument to police officers in front of the Warren Police Department.

Richard Mowery was arrested at 6:40 p.m. Monday in front of the police department, 141 South Street SE, after a Warren police officer noticed what Mowery was doing and pulled up behind him.

Mowery turned around and said, “he was sorry but he had to go.”
