Police have charged Brian M. Walker, 46, of Beck Street Southeast with misdemeanor misuse of 911 system for allegedly calling Warren’s 911 number seven times late Monday night. He also called the non-emergency line two times.

When police went to his house, Walker said he called 911 to report his keys were missing. Dispatchers said they advised Walker several times that 911 was only for emergencies.

Walker also threatened to shoot his girlfriend and appeared to be intoxicated during the calls, police said.
