The fundraiser for the Garden District Neighborhood 5K Race/Walk will close streets in Youngstown from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. The majority of the route for the event will take place in Mill Creek Park. However, the event will affect a few streets outside the park, which includes Milton Avenue between Hillsdale and Calvary Run and Hillsdale between Milton and McKinley. Also, Glacier, Hall Heights, and South Whitney Avenues will all be closed at Hillsdale to accommodate the event.

Also, the city advises that there will be a few street closings for the non-violence parade from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The streets closed will be: Wood Street between Lincoln and Wick Avenue; West Commerce Street between Hazel Street and Symphony Way; and Federal Plaza West between Symphony Way and Market Street.
