Church to offer self-defense class

MINERAL RIDGE

Ohltown United Methodist Church, 2001 Ohltown Road, will offer a women’s self-defense class at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 16. Doors open at 6.

Dawn Detz, Taekwando instructor and fourth-degree black belt, will lead the class.

There is no set fee; donations will be accepted. Registration deadline is Oct. 14. Class size is limited to 30 participants.
