Traffic stop in Canfield nets 3 arrests

A Tuesday night traffic stop ended in the arrest of three people on drug charges and warrants. Canfield police observed a tan Chevrolet traveling left of center on West Main Street. The driver, Katrina Clark of Akron, told police she didn’t have her license or proof of insurance with her, but later admitted she did not have a license, police said. Two passengers were also arrested, Shawn V. Moreland, of 1740 Market St. in Youngstown, on a Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office warrant for traffic charges, and Martel Tatum on an arrest warrant for violating conditions of release.

A purse from the front seat with 17 Tramadol pills in it was seized. In a smaller purse, pills identifed as Percocet were found. Clark told police she did not have a prescription for either prescription, a report said.
