Coat giveaway for kids Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN

The Salvation Army Mahoning County Services Area, in partnership with several civic organizations and businesses, will distribute 1,000 new winter coats to 1,000 pre-registered children free of charge from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Salvation Army, 1501 Glenwood Ave.

For parents who did not register their children, additional winter coats will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis after 2 p.m. Families are required to bring identification for their children and proof of guardianship or custody.
