CHC students welcome grandparents
C.H. Campbell Elementary School held its annual second-grade Grandparent’s Day Nov. 12-16.
Each second-grade class was given a day to have the students’ grandparents come into the school and shadow the students for the day.
The teachers had the students interview their grandparents and read poems to them before checking out a museum of the past that was assembled by the school’s students.
Grandparents then went to music class with their students, during which the students sang songs about America to honor Veterans’ Day. Grandparents were then able to have lunch with the students before going to the gymnasium for a round of bowling.
