YOUNGSTOWN

Opera singer and Youngs-town native Lawrence Brownlee will give a master class from 3 to 5 p.m. today in Bliss Recital Hall, inside Bliss Hall, Wick Avenue, on the campus of Youngstown State University.

A story published in Sunday’s Vindicator gave an incorrect start time. The class is free and open to the public.

Brownlee is one of the opera world’s most acclaimed bel canto tenors.

He will appear as Count Almaviva in the Opera Western Reserve production of Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville” at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Stambaugh Auditorium.
