City police were investigating the Tuesday night shooting of a 16-year-old boy.

The boy was found shot about 9:20 p.m. on Logan Avenue and McKinley Street. He was transported to Valley Care Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Police recovered a weapon at the scene, and detectives were taking statements and gathering evidence late Tuesday.
