Repackaged holiday specials are hitting the shelves. Here are five that were released this week on DVD:

v “An American Christmas Carol” ($30, DVD or Blu-Ray, Shout): In this 1979 TV movie, Henry Winkler’s Depression-era financier goes bah-humbug on New England townspeople rocked by plant closings and loan payments. As an extra, Winkler looks back at the film he made while starring as Fonzie on “Happy Days.”

v “It’s a Spongebob Christmas!” ($15, Nickelodeon): Last Friday’s new CBS stop-motion special hits disc with making-of, full-length animatic, MP3 songs, SBSP yule log!

v “12 Days of Christmas” ($40, A&E): A dozen Lifetime movies, among them “A Christmas Wedding,” “Christmas in Paradise” and “Will You Merry Me?”

v “Christmas with Danny Kaye” ($15, Inception): Peggy Lee, Nat King Cole and Mary Tyler Moore in two yule episodes from Kaye’s ’60s variety hour.

v “The Dean Martin Christmas Show” ($13, Time Life): Famously “casual” music/comedy hour’s 1968 holiday show, with Bob Newhart, Bob Hope, crew’s kids.

“christmas in rockefeller center” (8 p.m., nbc): “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” is back and you know what that means: It’s time to light up that big tree in the Big Apple. Trace Adkins, Mariah Carey, CeeLo Green and other performers lend their voices to the festivities.

“a charlie brown christmas” (8 p.m., abc): Yes, we’ve seen it a million times, but, after all these years, “A Charlie Brown Christmas” continues to be a holiday tradition — and that scrawny little fir tree still needs our love.

“THE HOUR” (9 p.m., bbc america): This stylish, critically lauded British drama series about the inner workings of a TV news operation returns for its second season and changes are afoot. The story jumps ahead one year — to 1957, when a ruthless new boss (Peter Capaldi) is demanding that the current-events program take on more edge and energy. His presence unnerves producer, Bel (Romola Garai), and revs up the brashly confident anchor, Hector (Dominic West).
