A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

Nov. 17

Drug abuse: Police charged Meckenzie DePasquale, 18, of 8825 Youngstown- Salem Road, and Tyler Smith, 19, of 318 Oak St., both of Canfield, with drug abuse after a 4 gram bag of suspected marijuana was found in their possession after their arrest in the city.

Nov. 19

Arrests: Police charged Enoch Hamilton, 36, with falsification and Benjamin Hamilton, 35, with falsification and cited him for wrongful entrustment after their arrest in the city. Both men live at 1151 Elberon Ave., Salem.

Nov. 21

Warrant: Police arrested Michael O’Diam, 41, of 151 Woodland Run, Canfield, on a warrant out of Boardman police for domestic violence.

Nov. 22

Assault: Police charged Kristopher Stimak, 26,of 542 Indiana Ave., McDonald, with assault and aggravated menacing after his arrest in the city.

Nov. 23

Drug paraphernalia: Police charged Chad Needham, 40, of 4150 Pembrook Road, with possession of drug paraphernalia after his arrest in the city.

Nov. 24

Drug abuse: Police charged Larry Kelley, 23, of 2517 W. Midlothian Blvd., Struthers, with drug abuse for possession of a marijuana cigarette after his arrest in the city.

Drug abuse, drug paraphernalia: Police charged Joseph Alcorn, 18, of 1950 Peachtree Court, Poland, with drug abuse and drug paraphernalia for possession of a bag of suspected marijuana and a pipe after his arrest in the city.

Nov. 19

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the 900 block of Compass West.

Burglary: A home in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road was broken into and televisions were stolen.

Fraud: A resident in the 300 block of North Roanoke Avenue reported that identity fraud was used to access the victim’s cellphone account.

Nov. 20

Theft: Money was stolen from an auto at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A window was broken out and items stolen from an auto parked at Best Western Inn, 870 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Terrell McDowell, 32, of 1547 Oak Lane, Youngstown on a warrant for domestic violence.

Theft: Two guns were taken from an auto parked at Best Western, 870 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A purse was taken at Regency House, 3704 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: Copper pipe was stolen from a vacant home in the 1000 block of Kirwan Drive.

Breaking and entering: Twenty-four units were broken into and the fence was cut at Blue Star Mini Storage, 1269 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Breaking and entering: Copper pipes were taken from a vacant home in the 500 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Theft: A cellphone was stolen from a bartender by a patron at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A wallet and a cellphone were stolen at Austinwoods, 4780 Kirk Road.

Theft: Jewelry and an iPod were stolen at a home in the 3000 block of Lynhaven Road.

Fraud: The crime was reported at a home in the 1000 block of South Meridian Road.

Fraud: Unauthorized purchases were reported at a home in the 3000 block of Nottingham Avenue.

Theft: A bank deposit of $874.29 was stolen at McDonald’s, 5524 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: Copper was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Warrant: Police arrested Kevin Sabo, 35, of 47 Ninth St., Campbell, on a warrant for theft.

Warrant: Police arrested Jammie Perry, 33, of 3991 Jeannette Drive SE, Warren, on a warrant for larceny.

Nov. 22

Assault: Police said there is a suspect in an assault at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Criminal damaging: An outside light was broken at a home in the 3000 block of Allendale Avenue.

Theft: Leather gloves and headphones were taken from a home in the 60 block of Lake Placid Boulevard.

Theft: A jacket and change were stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 5000 block of East Rockwell Road.

Theft: A Garmin GPS and miscellaneous coins were stolen from an auto parked in the 70 block of Evans Avenue.

Theft: Two laptops were taken from an auto parked at a home in the 5000 block of Colgate Drive.

Criminal damaging: A hammock was cut at a home in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was broken at a home in the 1000 block of South Roanoke Avenue.

Nov. 23

Theft: Police issued a summons to Marie Hill, 28, of 515 Southward Drive, for theft of a $42.66 coat at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Janiqua Hill, 19, of 629 Mabel St., Youngstown, on a warrant for theft.

Breaking and entering: Copper was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of East Rockwell Road after a break-in.

Nov. 24

Warrant: Police arrested Shanell Boone, 32, of 649 N. Hazelwood Ave., Youngstown, on a warrant for violation of a court order out of Campbell Municipal Court.

Theft: Three popcorn tins were taken at Walmart.

Vehicle theft: A 1997 Yamaha ATV was stolen from the Beach Shack at the Ice House Inn, 5516 W. Webb Road.

Theft: Jewelry was taken from Humility House, 755 Ohltown Road.

Nov. 25

Theft: Police charged Charles Edelman, 34, of 202 Cassandra Drive, Niles, with criminal trespassing and shoplifting after being accused of taking a doughnut and a magazine from Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave. Police also issued a summons to Edelman charging him with theft of cellphone chargers valued at $34.98 at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Brian Boggs, 28, of 3827 Orchard Court, Mineral Ridge, on a warrant for complicity to theft.

Theft: A Garmin GPS and a Sony camera were stolen from an auto parked in the 3000 block of White Beech Lane.

Menacing: A 15-year-old was being threatened by two other juveniles at a home in the 4000 block of Maureen Drive.

Theft: A purse was stolen from a shopping cart at Walmart.
