Las Vegas man faces multiple counts after crashing into club

A Las Vegas man is being held on $2.5 million bond facing 21 counts of attempted murder, accused of crashing into an Austintown club early Saturday.

Suren Aramyan was arraigned in Mahoning County Court on Monday on the attempted-murder charges along with charges of felonious assault, inducing panic, vandalism, six counts of criminal damaging and resisting arrest, according to court documents.

The vehicle crashed into the rear of Club 76, according to manager Anthony Beshara.

Beshara also is listed as one of the victims of attempted murder in the court documents.

In addition to damage to the building estimated at $150,000 or more, court documents stated there was also damage to multiple vehicles outside the club.

The charge of felonious assault stems from Aramyan reportedly using a handgun to “attempt to cause physical harm” to one victim, court documents said.

Beshara said club management did not have any comment on the case other than the status of the club.

“The only thing we are releasing right now is that we are reopening tonight,” Beshara said.

Austintown Police Chief Robert Gavalier said there were no other developments in the case, but that the 21 counts of attempted murder resulted in a higher bond.
