UPMC sponsors auction and food drive

GREENVILLE, PA.

The annual basket auction and canned food drive at UPMC Horizon Greenville Campus will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 6 in the cafeteria at the hospital’s Greenville campus.

Proceeds will be equally divided between the Jamestown Food Pantry, The Good Shepherd Center, Greenville, and Helping Hands in Stoneboro. Tickets for the auction are $1 for three or 20 for $5. Cash and checks will be accepted. A free ticket will be given for each canned food or nonperishable item donated.

The event is sponsored by the campus operating room, work room, central sterile supply, recovery room and anesthesia departments, in conjunction with the UPMC Horizon Community Health Foundation.
