Youngstown Chapter, Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, will have an open meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday at Dublin Grange, 6571 Fairground Blvd., Canfield. The program will be about vowel sounds. There will be a questions-and-answer period. Refreshments and fellowship will follow.

Girard Men’s Democrat Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Parkwood Youth Center, Lamancusa Hall.

League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown will welcome Sara Lowery and Molly Toth of Ohio Lady Advocates (OHLA) for a discussion at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Park Vista Gathering Room, 1216 Fifth Ave. Toth and Lowery are the co-founders of OHLA, an organization that engages issues related to gender. The speakers will discuss women in politics as voters and office holders, as well as the rhetoric used in the recent election to win the female vote.
