Cincinnati police say police gunfire killed one drug suspect and wounded another one after the suspects allegedly backed their vehicle into an unmarked police car following a pre-arranged undercover drug buy.

Lt. Kimberly Williams said Thursday that police are still trying to sort out details of the Wednesday night shooting. She says one suspect died and the other was treated for a non-life threatening wound. Williams says an officer who fired at the suspects wasn’t injured.

Police are searching for a third suspect.

Police say officers followed the suspects after a drug deal apparently to arrest them. They say the suspects backed their vehicle into the police car after turning onto a dead-end street.

Williams says officers reported seeing two suspects get out of the car and two with guns.
