Winterfest dance set for high schools

A Winterfest Dance will be Dec. 5 at Mahoning Country Club, 710 E. Liberty St. SE, for all high school-age special-needs students in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties.

There is no cost but reservations must be made to each school by Nov. 30.

Semiformal attire is requested. No sweatpants, jeans, shorts, school uniforms or tennis shoes, unless medically necessary.

The students should be dropped off between 4:30 and 5 p.m. Dinner will be from 5 to 6, and dancing and crowning of Snow Prince and Princess will take place from 6 to 8:30.

No parents are permitted between 5 and 8:15. There will be chaperones, security and student helpers.
