Dinner honors Lautners on 65th anniversary

A family dinner celebrated the 65th anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lautner of Youngstown, who were married on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, in 1947.

The former Audrey J. Boles and Mr. Lautner were high-school sweethearts after they met at Chaney High School in 1943.

Their children are Audrey (Marty) Gray, Karen Lambert and Carol (Burt) Myers, all of Youngstown; Charles II (Tara) Lautner of Tampa, Fla.; and Daniel (Kathy) Lautner of Louisville, Ohio. The family is completed with 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Bonnie Little, is deceased.

The couple are members of St. Brendan Church.

Mr. Lautner retired from Sears after working as an appliance technician for 30 years.

Mrs. Lautner retired from Golden Crust Bakery, where she worked for 20 years.
