Jessica Bayer and Joshua Crissman, both of Brunswick, Ohio, exchanged marriage vows Aug. 3 at St. James Meeting Place. The Rev. Dan Tayman officiated at the 1:30 p.m. wedding ceremony.

A reception followed at The Links at Firestone Farms, Columbiana.

The parents of the couple are Lorriane Lesick of Austintown, Anthony and Kerry Bayer of Brunswick, and William and Dorothy Crissman of Toledo.

After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in Brunswick.

The bride wore an ivory drop waisted ballroom gown adorned with a beaded sweetheart neckline and beaded waist length veil.

Kristen Melnek was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Kristen Anthony; Candy Rivera; Elizabeth and Emily Crissman, sisters of the groom; and Nikia Boyk, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Lauren Bayer, the bride’s sister.

The attendants wore plum-colored gowns.

Performing the duties of best man was the father of the groom. Groomsmen were John Osborn; Jerry Erwin; and Jim, Austin and Zack Bayer, brothers of the bride. Andrew Bayer, brother of the bride, was ring bearer.

The bride received a master’s degree in higher education administration from the University of Akron. She works at Oberlin College.

The groom is studying finance at Cuyahoga Community College. He is a certified technician for Valvoline Instant Oil Change, Brunswick.
