Here's your chance to put a soldier on your gift list

In response to our fifth annual Operation Holiday Cheer promotion, area residents sent us the names of their loved ones who are serving in the military and won’t be home for the upcoming holidays.

Now it’s your turn to get involved!

Go to our home page and click on the Operation Holiday Cheer banner to view the solders and their military addresses as well as gift suggestions and shipping deadlines and tips.

This is a great opportunity for adults as well as kids to share their holiday cheer with our troops by sending them cards, letters and gifts. It’s a perfect way to show your support and express your thanks for the sacrifices the soldiers are making on our behalf.

Parents and teachers are encouraged to help their children and students participate, and club members are urged to turn this opportunity into a group project.

All who get involved are asked to send us pictures of your project, and we’ll post them online.
