The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that left a man dead over the weekend.

Taylor D. Bilbo, 20, of East Palestine, was driving east on state Route 558 around 4:45 a.m. on Sunday when he lost control of his truck near state Route 46. Officers said his 2007 Chevrolet went off the right side of the road and into a ditch before his vehicle became airborne. Bilbo was ejected from the truck, which struck a tree and came to rest on its roof in a creek. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
