Highway patrol seeks public’s help in finding car that fled scene of serious accident

The Warren Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol Post is investigating a serious-injury crash involving a driver who fled the scene that occurred on State Route 45 near Greenlawn Avenue in Warren Township on Tuesday.

The OSHP is looking for the suspect’s vehicle that is believed to be a Chevrolet S-10 Blazer, from the model years 1998 to 2003. The vehicle will have damage to its front right side, according to the highway patrol report. The right headlight assembly was damaged and the plastic lenses covering the headlight will be missing along with a large portion of the center grille.

The crash occurred at about 8:15 p.m. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the Warren Post at 330-898-2321.
