Free Thanksgiving dinner to residents
BROOKFIELD
Brookfield Township Outreach Association is sponsoring a free Thanksgiving dinner for Brookfield and Masury residents from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Brookfield Township Fire Hall, 774 state Route 7.
The meal will feature either roast turkey or baked ham. No takeouts.
To prearrange meal delivery for shut-ins or if transportation is needed, call 330-448-8990 and leave your name and phone number.
Donations of nonperishable foods will be taken and will be donated to the community.
Pacentrano Auxiliary elects officers for 2013

The Women’s Auxiliary of the Pacentrano Club of Youngstown met recently at the club, 2629 Craiger Ave.
The following were elected officers for 2013: Gloria Guzi, president; Arlene DeChellis, vice president; Elena Nigro, treasurer; Virginia DiNello, corresponding secretary; Floreann D’Amato, financial secretary; Anna DeChellis, sargeant at arms; Angela Ramunno, head trustee; Anna Pompeo and Marilyn Ramunno, trustees; and Tina Rothwell, parliamentarian.
A buffet dinner was enjoyed after the meeting.
The next regular meeting will be Feb. 10 at the club.
Catholic association has two new members

The fall dinner meeting for the Catholic Collegiate Association took place recently at the Holiday Inn.
Mary Lou Sankovich and Gilda Stigliano were welcomed as new members.
There will be a luncheon Dec. 15 at Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield featuring holiday entertainment.

Animal shelter has need for dog houses

Cold weather is here and the Animal Welfare Shelter, 545 Brunstetter Road SW, is in need of medium and large dog houses made of wood or igloo style only.
If unable to deliver, call for pick-up between 1 to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday at 330-399-2086.
Food drive to aid the Needle’s Eye
YOUNGSTOWN
There will be a food drive Friday at The B&O Banquet Hall, 350 Mahoning Ave., that will benefit the Needle’s Eye.
It is sponsored by Gee Mo Productions and is part of an all-city class reunion party featuring Youngstown’s Total Package Band, comedian Anthony “Real Talk” Anderson, Sting Ray and Jody D.
Cost is $6 at the door or $5 if donating canned goods, which can be dropped off all day.
