Kirtland rallies to defeat Ursuline

AURORA

After trailing 24-0 at halftime, Kirtland rallied to stun Ursuline, 38-37, in Saturday’s Division V Region 17 final at Aurora High School.

With eight seconds remaining, the Irish scored a touchdown to slice the lead to one point. Ursuline then went for the two-point conversion and failed.
