Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church provided the setting for he Sept. 29 exchange of vows between Heather Pupa of McDonald and David McCormick of Niles.
The Rev. John Harvey officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at the Maronite Center.
The parents of the couple are Greg and Linda Pupa of McDonald and Michael and Michele McCormick of Niles.
The bride wore a modified A-line gown with lace overlay appliques adorned with Swarovski crystals. The fitted bodice was defined with satin at the empire waistline.
Matron of honor was Melissa Crown, the bride’s sister. Bridesmaids were Staci Sernulka, the bride’s cousin; Jillian Janik; Lindsey Milak; Dana Elias; and Kacy McCormick, the groom’s sister. Kamryn Ross was junior bridesmaid. The groom’s niece, Addison McCormick, was the flower girl.
The attendants wore black gowns with hot pink bows.
The groom’s brother, Michael McCormick, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Chris Calderone; Patrick Sylvester, the groom’s cousin; Brian Liddle; Gary Miller; and James Anderson. Kaden Crown was junior groomsman and Kyle Crown was the ring bearer, both are the bride’s nephews.
The bride received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Youngstown State University and is a registered nurse at ValleyCare Northside Medical Center.
The groom received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kent State University and is production manager at Wholesale Fireworks, Hubbard.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple live in Mineral Ridge.
