Underwood concert sold out

YOUNGSTOWN — Carrie Underwood’s April 11 concert at the Covelli Centre is sold out. Tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. today, and were all gone by about 4 p.m., according to a press release from the downtown arena.

Some single-seat tickets are still available, however.

Covelli Centre holds about 6,300 for concerts.

Underwood is touring her new release, “Blown Away.” The country star last played the Covelli on March 12, 2010. That show sold out in 48 hours.

The fastest sell-out in Covelli history was Elton John’s May 1, 2010, concert, which sold out 7,000 tickets in 30 minutes.
