ALLIANCES

Ohio Cultural Alliance has set its next meeting for 6 p.m. Dec. 3 at Western Reserve Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield. Dr. Peter Norris will present “Old World Traditions: Lost and Retained — English.” There will be a catered roast beef dinner, and Tapestries of Ohio Madrigal Singers will entertain. Girard High School Athletic Boosters will meet at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the high school.

CLASSES

Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1953 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Johnny’s in Boardman. Plans for a Christmas luncheon will be finalized. Guests are welcome.

Round Table Woodcarvers will meet from 9 to 11:45 a.m. Thursday at the Senior Center,1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. Wood and the use of tools will be provided, and carving lessons will be free.
