Mahoning Valley police departments garner community-safety honors

Two Mahoning Valley police departments were honored today for their community-safety efforts.

Canfield Police received a Bronze Award and Newton Falls Police got a Commendation Award from AAA East Central at a luncheon in Independence, Ohio.

The police departments were honored for excelling at making their communities safer.
