Warren man beaten with own cane

WARREN

A 54-year-old Ward Street Northwest man reported being attacked by unknown people as he took out his trash at 12:40 a.m. Monday.

The man said he was “blindsided” by the attackers and didn’t get a description of them.

Some of them took his cane and beat him with it, the man said.

Nothing was stolen.
