Sarah Sudano and Jay Pichitino exchanged marriage vows during a sunset ceremony that took place on Folly Beach on Aug. 12, the date of the bride’s grandparents’ anniversary.

The newlyweds were honored at a reception at Poohgan’s Porch Restaurant, Charleston, S.C.

Parents of the couple are Nick and Sharon Sudano of Niles and John and Dixie Pichitino of Poland.

The bride wore a strapless gown of ivory organza detailed with a bodice embellished with rhinestones on organza petals. The mermaid silhouette finished with a chapel-length train.

Matron of honor was Melanie Collins. Ellianna Volpini, the groom’s niece, was flower girl.

Serving as best man was Sean Williams. Ring bearers were Artie and Dominic Volpini, the groom’s nephews.

The couple honeymooned at the Isle of Palms. They live in Columbus.
