Mount of the Holy Cross overlook at Shrine Pass was the setting for the Oct. 13 wedding ceremony of Kristine Marie Phillips of Lakewood, Ohio, and Andrew Paul Holland of Akron. The Rev. Mark Huggenvik officiated at the 3 p.m. nuptials.

The couple were honored at a dinner reception at Sweet Basil Restaurant, Vail, Colorado.

Frank Phillips of Campbell is the father of the bride. Her mother, Joyce Fasline Phillips, is deceased. The parents of the groom, William R. Holland and Sheila Diane Vale, are deceased.

The couple reside in Akron.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree in social work from Cleveland State University. She is a clinical associate for the Positive Education Program in Cleveland.

The groom received a bachelor’s degree in biology from College of Wooster. He is founder and owner of EYEMG.com LLC, interactive media group, Akron.

Besides the father of the bride, witnessing the ceremony were Nathaniel and Katherine Holland and Mike Andersen, children of the groom.
