Janeace Brooke of Poland and Connor McCluskey of Akron were united in marriage during a ceremony Aug. 4 at Holy Family Church. The Rev. Michael Marco solemnized their vows.

A reception followed at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church hall.

The bride is a daughter of Wayne and Marie Brooke of Poland. Parents of the groom are Patty McCluskey and Dr. Dennis McCluskey, both of Akron.

The bride wore a champagne-colored satin gown with beaded illusion tank straps and a V-notch bodice. The A-line skirt was embellished with beaded embroidery at an empire waist.

Sisters of the bride, Courtnay Chandler and Leslie Agee, were matrons of honor and wore gray dresses. Leanne Chandler, the bride’s niece, and Piper Oley, the groom’s niece, were flower girls.

The groom’s brothers, Malcolm and Mike McCluskey, performed the duties of best man. Patrick Brooke, the bride’s nephew, was the ringbearer.

The bride received a master’s degree in speech language pathology from University of Akron. She is a speech language pathologist for Community Speech Services in Green, Ohio.

The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from John Carroll University and is a financial analyst at First Energy.

After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple reside in Akron.
