Manteo Baptist Church, Manteo, N.C., provided the setting for the 5 p.m. July 27 wedding of Sarah Carrino and Vincent J. Barone, both of Chicago. Heath Sizick, a college roommate of the groom, presided.
A reception followed in Manteo. A Valley reception was Aug. 19 at The Embassy in Struthers.
Parents of the newlyweds are Jerry and Gail Carrino of Paterson, N.J., and Dave and Marlene Barone of Struthers.
The bride wore a strapless off-white chiffon gown adorned with a beaded belt, accompanied by a three-layer veil of tulle.
Lindsey Adams and Marla Pisano were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Christine Carrino, sister-in-law of the bride; Gina Vecchione, sister of the groom; and Kate Moldovan, Brooke Gard, Meaghan Bupp and Lyndsay Williams. Junior bridesmaids were Tori and Leah Barone, nieces of the groom. The flower girls, who wore white dresses with red bustles, were Elle Adams and Ava Vecchione, the groom’s niece. The attendants wore black cocktail dresses.
David A. Barone II and Anthony J. Barone, brothers of the groom, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Justin Carrino, brother of the bride; Michael Annichine Jr. and Bill Polls, cousins of the groom; and Paul Kilbride, Mike Kraynak and Chad Gordiano. Ring bearers were Santino Barone, the groom’s nephew; and Max Memmelear, cousin and godson of the groom. Ushers were John Pisano and Thomas DePaul, uncle of the bride.
The bride earned a degree in communication from the University of Toledo. She is a senior instructor for Dermalogica Institute, Chicago.
The groom attended Malone College and earned a master’s degree in business from Lake Forest College. He is manager of national accounting for Sherwin Williams Paints, Cleveland.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple reside in Chicago and will move to Cleveland by December.
