A summary of recent criminal activity in Canfield city and Austintown:

CANFIELD

May 19

Domestic violence: Jena Christy, 24, of 40 Russo Lane, Canfield, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

May 21

Domestic violence: Matthew Cunningham, 45, of 40 Stratford Green Drive, No. 2 was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

Carrying a concealed weapon: Danny Elrod, 36, of 7815 Akron-Canfield Road, No. 5, was arrested on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, a knife, and receiving stolen property.

Fraudulent charges: Over $600 in fraudulent credit card charges were reported at a home on Hilltop Blvd.

May 25

Stolen: Ten American flags and flag poles owned by the Rotary and on loan were reported stolen at Fair Park, 330 Oak St.

Disorderly conduct: Richard Hubbs, 40, of 485 W. Main St., Canfield, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, criminal damaging and endangering.

May 26

Drug abuse: Casey Sawicki, 32, of 145 E. Ravenwood Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of drug abuse of marijuana.

May 27

Drug abuse: Jesse Durkin, 18, 3202 Oakcrest, Austintown, of was arrested on charges of drug abuse and drug paraphernalia.

Drug abuse: Anthony George, 28,of 2570 Timothy Knoll Drive, Poland, was arrested on a charge of drug abuse of marijuana.

AUSTINTOWN

May 21

Warrant: Branden Chamblee, 29, of 339 N.Edgehill Ave., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on traffic charges.

Warrant: Rhonda Jones, 47, of 118 Winchester Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for petty theft and theft.

Noise complaint: Thomas Berquist, 47, of 3929 Bradomyne Ave., was issued a summons on a noise complaint for a barking dog.

Burglary: Entry was gained but nothing was missing at a home in the 3000 block of Artmar Drive.

Warrant: Mark Mills, 37, of 7430 Doak Drive, Ravenna, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Criminal trespass: Peter Harasyn, 32,of 352 Forest Hill Drive was arrested on a charge of criminal trespassing.

Burglary: A camera, a PS3 console and games were taken at a home in the 1000 block of N. Navarre Avenue.

Recovered property: A wallet was recovered at the Lube Stop, 5010 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized withdrawals were made from an account at a home in the 2000 block of Penny Lane.

May 22

Theft: Four Keno tickets valued at $250 were taken off the bar at The Manor, 3104 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Warrant: Angelo Martino, 52, of 134 LeMans Drive, Apt. 13, Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for criminal trespassing.

Fraud: Unauthorized purchases were reported at a home in the 80 block of Placid Boulevard.

Telecommunications harassment: Numerous unwanted messages were reported at a home in the 500 block of Western Place.

May 23

Forgery: Ronnie Lampkin, 54, of 541 Florida Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of forgery.

Fraud: A credit/debit card was compromised at a home in the 100 block of Fitch Blvd.

Criminal damaging: A car was keyed at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Telecommunications harassment: Repeated calls and threats were reported at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $50 was reported stolen by a male suspect at a home in the 2000 block of Idlewood Road.

Burglary: No forced entry was evident in a burglary at an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West.

Menacing: Shayne Waller, 20, of 148 N. Main St., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge and for menacing.

May 24

Menacing: Menacing was reported at Lucianno’s, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.

May 25

Felonious assault: Arthur Lucci, Jr., 38, of 50 Coitsville Road, Campbell was arrested on charges of felonious assault, improper handling of a firearm and possession of dangerous drugs, including Vicodin, Ativan and Klonopin.

Criminal damaging: Lawn furniture was damaged at a home in the 2000 block of Birch Trace.

Auto theft: A 1989 gold Dodge pickup was stolen from the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Breaking and entering: Several items were taken from a garage at a home in the 3000 block of Riblet Avenue.

Theft: Prescription pills were taken at a home in the 1000 block of County Line Road.

Breaking and entering: Several items were taken at a home in the 1000 block of Beaver Drive.

Drug offense: Milford Sponaugle, 51, of 3820 Mahoning Ave., Apt. 6, was arrested on drug charges for possession of marijuana.

Theft: A credit card was stolen at Pilot Oil,1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Domestic violence: Bridgette Stevenson, 35, of 4342 Timberbrook Drive, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

Counterfeiting: A counterfeit $10 bill was passed at AT&T, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

May 26

Drug offense: Zachary Sutton, 19, of 5318 Pinecrest Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle door was scratched at Comprehensive Logistics, 365 Victoria Road.

Disorderly conduct: Ronald Atwell, 55, of 3520 Knickerbocker Road, B-163, San Angelo., Texas, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at JJL Packaging, LLC, 5699 W. Webb Road, in the parking lot.

Theft: Shingles and a garage can were stolen at Koch Fields, 600 N. Four Mile Run Road.

Theft: Several pills were stolen at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: Boys underwear was stolen at Dollar General, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

May 27

Disturbance: Two males were fighting at an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West.

Theft: Two subjects attempted to steal radiators at Allied Waste Services, 3870 Henricks Road.

Theft: Work was not completed on tree service at a home in the 300 block of N. Yorkshire Blvd.

Burglary: A home was entered and numerous items were stolen in the 3000 block of Edinburgh Drive.

Drug offense: Raymond Garcia, 18, of 186 Osborne Ave., was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana and Jesse Duby, 18, of 202 E. Kline St.,Girard was charged with possession of dangerous drugs, including six Valium.

Disorderly conduct: Debra Jean, 51, of 102 Arms Blvd., No. 9, Niles, and Troy Jean, 48, same address were both issued summonses for disorderly conduct at the TA Travel Center.
