Car, custom-cycle show will benefit food bank

The Armstrong Street Scene Car & Custom Bike Show will be from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Shepherd Self Storage, 7469 South Ave., with registration from 9 a.m. until Noon. Fee is $10 per car or bike.

Admission is free for spectators, but they are asked to bring a nonperishable food item to donate to Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley. Monetary proceeds from the show also will benefit the Food Bank.

The show will feature Arnie Beswick’s 1963 Pontiac Tempest. Aaron Vaccar’s Signature Series Tour also will make a pit stop, along with Drive Magazine, a “Dukes of Hazzard” General Lee original and a “Starsky & Hutch” replica.

Up for grabs are 14 trophies (judging optional), plus goodie bags, dash plaques, customized photo and door-prize ticket to the first 200 registrants.

Rick Gurrera, host of the “Street Scene” television series, will be joined by guest host Krysta Sylvester for a taping.
