Animal Charity dedicates new bench, steps honoing helpers

Animal Charity Humane Society will dedicate its new “Bench of Giving and Paw Steps of Love” at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

The Bench of Giving is actually two concrete benches that have the names of sponsors, including local businesses, engraved on them to show their support for the organization.

The Paw Steps are similar and have the names of people in businesses that have donated to Animal Charity to show it takes many people to stop animal cruelty, according to a news release.

Animal Charity is a nonprofit humane agency at 4140 Market St.
