The Raymond John Wean Foundation will move Wednesday into its new location at 147 West Market St.

The new site is about a block away from the foundation’s former offices in the Huntington Bank Building at Market Street and Main Avenue.

The new quarters will more than triple the Wean Foundation’s old office space. This two-story, Civil-War-era building has undergone a one year, historic restoration.

“This is more than a change of address; it’s what we hope will be an expansion of the Wean Foundation’s impact, not only on Downtown Warren, but across the Mahoning Valley,” said Gordon B. Wean, chairman of the Wean Foundation.

The Wean Foundation expects to be open Friday. A dedication and grand opening celebration will be July 18, the expected completion date. For more information about the foundation go online to http://www.rjweanfdn.org.
