Trial starts for alleged Penn State serial flasher

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) — A trial is getting under way for a man police say is a serial flasher who assaulted women inside Penn State residence halls and off-campus apartments over two years.

The Centre Daily Times reports that the trial for 34-year-old Ryan Ho starts today and is expected to end Friday.

Ho is charged with burglary, trespassing, indecent assault and indecent exposure.

Prosecutors say the Patton Township man slipped into dorms or apartments, donned a mask, took off his pants and accosted unsuspecting women.

Ho was arrested after police say he entered a State College apartment and surprised a woman in her bedroom in May 2011. He was charged later in 18 other cases on campus and in the surrounding area.
