Animal groups unite for Tails & Trails walk

CORTLAND

Safe at Last Dog Rescue and TNR of Warren will host the 2012 Tails, Trails and Carnival Animal Walk from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 7 at Mosquito Lake State Park, 1439 state Route 305.

All registered animals will get free treats while supplies last. There is a $10 entry fee, which will be waived if a walker raises more than $50 in pledges; pledge forms are available at www.safeatlastdogrescue.org. The first 50 walkers to register will get an event T-shirt.

All proceeds will support the rescue groups, and donations are being accepted at TNR of Warren, P.O. Box 2477, Warren, OH 44484. Checks should be marked “Tails and Trails” on the memo line.
