YOUNGSTOWN

Christine Orenic-Ward has penned a new book, “Silent No More,” which will be officially released July 24.

Ward says she suffered with depression most of her life. After being diagnosed with bipolar disorder when she was young, she faced homelessness, mental-hospital stays, dysfunctional relationships and suicide attempts.

Her husband’s abusive behavior left her trapped in familiar, debilitating patterns. When she began to suspect that he was turning his attention to their daughter, she knew something had to be done.

Orenic-Ward lives in Youngstown and soon will be moving to Georgia with family. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Youngstown State University and has a certificate in Christian counseling from Light University.

New Woodward book coming in September

NEW YORK

A new Bob Woodward book is scheduled for September, upholding an election-year tradition.

An “Untitled” Woodward book is listed on Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.com, with no details provided.

Spokeswoman Tracey Guest of Simon & Schuster, Woodward’s longtime publisher, said Wednesday the book would be out Sept. 12. She said she “had no other information to share.”

Since 2002, Woodward’s books have come out every two years and provided inside accounts of the then-current presidential administration. His most recent book, “Obama’s Wars,” was released in 2010. Like much of his work, it reached No. 1 on The New York Times’ hardcover nonfiction best-seller list
