Ten men were ordained during services 50 years ago at St. Columba Cathedral, the largest class in the history of the Youngstown Diocese. Ordained by Bishop Enmet M. Walsh were, from left: the Revs. Anthony Francis Fasline, Carl G. Kish, Robert Paul Reidy, James Edward McKarns, Francis Richard Zappitelli, James Christian Vennetti, John Davern Mulqueen, Daniel Joseph Kulesa, Stephen Richard Filisky, Philip Patrick Conley. Not pictured was the Rev. Thomas J. McCarthy, an 11th member of the class from Mount St. Mary of the West Seminary, who was ordained in August to serve as priest-prefect.
