Police seek help in identifying man struck, killed by train today

The Kent Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who was struck and killed by a train on CSX Railroad tracks at 12:39 a.m. today about a mile north of Middlebury Road near a hike and bike trail bridge. The victim is described as a white man, about 6 feet tall, thin to medium build, with long dark hair and brown eyes, wearing a black T-Shirt, blue jeans and Converse brand black canvas shoes. The approximate age of the victim was not provided in the news release. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 330-673-7732
